Fortysomething, mostly a musician, with interests in writing and photography. I shoot a 1973 Nikon F, and have a 1979 Minolta XG1 in reserve. I have a Sony Cybershot, but don't use it for serious photography, just quick snaps or for when I know I'm going to throw away most of my pictures (like trying to shoot lightning or fireworks). I also do fiberwork—knitting and crochet.
Bass, mainly. Jam-band style -- I can't read music, so I have to just listen and keep up. I play a little rhythm guitar, a little keys, and am still working on the theremin.
welcomes. and cool. i play guitar, and i sort have a band starting and we've got some songs. im gonna upload one soon on youtube but i also have some very old vids on my profile. can you not read tabs? its pretty easy.
No, can't read tab either. As long as I can see bar chords (or know the song already), I know where I need to go -- and if I don't, I can fake it. I learned to play by dropping in a Grateful Dead tape and trying to keep up with Phil Lesh.
lol cool. with tabs you just look at the number of the fret then read it left from right so it would be like 12-3-21 so if it said that you play fret 12 then fret 3 then fret 21
